Stone Earns ADCCA Endorsement, Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Distinction

PELHAM, Ala. —

Spencer Stone, Democratic candidate for Alabama State Senate District 16, announced today that his campaign has been endorsed by the Alabama Democratic County Chairs’ Association (ADCCA) and has been awarded the 2026 Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate distinction by the Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund.

“It means a lot to have the support of Democratic leaders from across the state who know how much is at stake in Shelby County. This race isn’t about partisanship — it’s about giving District 16 a real voice in Montgomery.”

The ADCCA represents Democratic Party leadership at the county level throughout Alabama and works to support candidates running for state and local office.

Stone was also named a 2026 Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate, a distinction awarded by the Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund to candidates who advocate for gun violence prevention and common-sense gun safety measures.

Per Everytown policy, the Gun Sense Candidate distinction is not an endorsement from Moms Demand Action or the Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund. It signals to voters that a candidate advocates for gun violence prevention and will govern with gun safety in mind.
